Questions

Is the site notebook free?

Yes. The notebook is free, and it does not use up your free CostMate trial. The trial only starts if you choose Start using CostMate.

Who can see what I write?

Only you. It is your own diary.

Does it replace my apprenticeship logbook or record of work?

No. It is your own personal diary, not an official record, and it does not count towards your qualification. Keep doing whatever your training provider and your employer ask of you.

What happens to my notebook if I change company?

It stays with you. It belongs to you, not to the company you work for.

Can I just say my day instead of typing it?

Yes. Tap the microphone and talk, then tap it again when you are done, or type it the way you would say it. It only picks up what you actually said, and nothing is saved until you confirm each piece.

Will it tell me how long a job should take?

No. It shows how long things take you, from your own days, stage by stage. It never makes up a number.
